ROTARY D9212 DISTRICT CONFERENCE AND ASSEMBLY REGISTRATION TERMS
ROTARIANS
- Registration for all Rotarians will open on Saturday 13th May 2023.
- Except for Rotarians from Ethiopia, Eritrea, and South Sudan who may have challenges with accessing the Site and/or making online payments, registration will be done exclusively on the district assembly website dca2024.rotary9212.org (the Site).
- Registration will be on a first-come-first-served basis and the fees payable as follows, based on the time of registration:-

* The early bird registration rate of USD 180 will only be available to the first one hundred (100) Rotarians who register during the District Conference in Addis Ababa on the 13th of May 2023 and make payment in full on the day. Once the 100 persons are registered, the rate for registration will be adjusted as indicated.
- The Site has integrated a payment platform that will allow those registering to make payment of their registration fees online through mobile money applications (including MPESA and Airtel Money) as well as by credit or debit card (VISA and MasterCard). There will be no cash payments or payments accepted into the District Conference bank account except with the express written consent of the District Conference Chair and Treasurer.
- The District Conference Committee reserves the right, at any time, to make adjustments to the fees payable for registration in order to take into account any significant changes in the costs for hosting the conference including exchange rate changes, and these adjustments shall be made on the site as shall be necessary from time to time and applied accordingly.

- Rotarians will only be considered as registered for the conference upon payment of the full registration fee applicable at the time of registration.
Cancellation Terms
- Rotarians who register for the conference and wish to cancel may provide their registration slot to another Rotarian at any time by sending an email with the details of both the registered individual and the individual to whom the slot is to be given to dca2024@rotary9212.org.
- In the event the performance of any obligation with respect to this registration, including hosting of the District Conference and Assembly, is either directly or indirectly prevented, restricted, or interfered with by reason of fire, flood, earthquake or like acts of God, wars, revolution, civil commotion, explosion, acts of public enemy, embargo, acts of the government in its sovereign capacity, labour difficulties, including without limitation, strikes, slowdowns, picketing, or boycotts, unavailability of equipment from vendors, epidemics, pandemics or quarantines, or any other circumstances beyond the reasonable control and without the fault or negligence of the DCA Committee, the DCA Committee may, upon giving prompt notice to the registered Rotarians, postpone, cancel or change the format of delivery of the Conference and shall be excused from hosting the conference to the extent of such prevention, restriction, or interference, until the delay, restriction or interference has ceased; provided however, that the DCA Committee shall use diligent efforts to avoid or remove such causes of non-performance and where this is not possible, shall use all diligence to ensure appropriate refund of any fees paid is made to the respective Rotarians as soon as is practicable.
